Note - Any and all works carried out by VPS Plumbing shall be subjected to these terms and conditions in full. It is the sole responsibility of the client/customer to ensure that they have read and understood the terms and conditions prior to commencement of work.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of plumbing services by VPS Plumbing Services (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") to customers (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "your") in New South Wales, Australia. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services
- We provide a range of plumbing services as detailed on our website and in our service agreements.
- All services are performed by licensed and qualified plumbers in accordance with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
- We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
3. Quotes and pricing
- Quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified.
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on information provided by you and our initial assessment. Additional costs may apply if unforeseen circumstances arise or if the scope of work changes.
4. Booking and cancellation
- Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email.
- We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
5. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, credit card, EFTPOS, and direct bank transfer.
- For larger jobs, we may require a deposit or progress payments.
- Late payments without contacting us will void the warranty.
- In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to engage debt collection services, and you will be liable for any associated costs.
6. Warranties and guarantees
- We provide a workmanship guarantee of 12 months from the date of service completion.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to all products and parts supplied by us. These warranties vary by product and manufacturer.
- Our guarantees and warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear.
- To claim under our workmanship guarantee, you must notify us in writing within the guarantee period.
7. Liability and indemnity
- We maintain public liability insurance as required by law.
- Our liability is limited to the cost of rectifying the specific plumbing work performed.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from our services.
- You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions or any information you provide.
8. Unforeseen circumstances and damage
- We will take all reasonable care to prevent damage to your property. However, some plumbing work may require access to walls, floors, or ceilings, which may cause unavoidable damage.
- We are not responsible for any pre-existing plumbing issues or damage not directly caused by our work.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., hidden leaks, asbestos, or structural issues), we will inform you promptly and discuss options before proceeding.
9. Access and safety
- You must provide clear and safe access to all work areas.
- We reserve the right to refuse work if we deem the working conditions unsafe.
- You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or body corporate approvals before work commences.
10. Intellectual property
- All intellectual property rights in our website, logo, and marketing materials remain our property.
- You may not use our intellectual property without our express written consent.
11. Privacy
- We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant Australian privacy laws.
- You consent to us collecting, storing, and using your personal information for the purpose of providing our services and for marketing communications.
12. Dispute resolution

14. Amendments

15. Severability
